On the fourteenth day of my challenge, I was captivated by the architectural beauty hidden inside a pomegranate. This piece is a study of contrast and texture—the smooth, leathery skin giving way to a complex, jewel-like cluster of succulent seeds. Using a palette of deep crimsons and vibrant scarlets, I wanted to capture the "heart" of the fruit. The 12x12 inch format allows the composition to feel intimate yet bold, making it a perfect statement piece for a modern kitchen or dining space.
